High-fire Clay (Long Beach, Cone 10)
I envision Scourge wielding his log like a lesser man might weild a quarterstaff. Log! This required much creative carving and hollowing, trying to remove as much mass as possible from inside him with a minimum of visible holes in his surface, especially in his arms and chest where there are no grooves or folds to hide them in. Even still, he was a bit too thick in places, and experienced some minor cracking in firing, but hey, he is tough. He can take it. |
