In the early stages of construction, I had little idea where I was going. I wasn't happy with any part of the sculpture except the legs. I had not even started on the arms. The torso and neck were having compression problems related to the weight of the head. Patience, and some structural support in the form of wadded newspaper eventually solved these problems.
