Bob the Hamster in the Crypt of Baconthulhu was made by James Paige, featuring music by John Sebastian Willow. It was first released on April 30 2009 for the 2009 OHRRPGCE Terrible Games Contest. A new updated and expanded version was released in December 2013 for Windows, Mac, Linux and OUYA consoles.


After eating so much bacon that he passes out, Bob awakens in a mysterious crypt filled with monsters and cultists who worship the Ancient Fried Pork One, BACONTHULHU

This game uses a roguelike battle system, and features randomly generated mazes.

Bob the Hamster in the Crypt of Baconthulhu could be considered a spiritual successor to James's old DOS game BobQuest
